I opened my eyes this morning.
I heard the soft breathing of the women I love.
I touched her cheek with my fingers.
I smelled fresh coffee brewing.
I tasted the sweet joy of God’s forgiveness.
His mercy and grace are new every morning. This was a new day and anything is possible.
I am thankful that my life is devoted to sharing that message of hope. I am thankful that Jesus came to bring us life in abundance and offer eternal life. I am thankful for a family that has trusted him.
- Open your eyes.
- Hear the quiet voice that calls you to live.
- Feel the fresh breeze of opportunity.
- Taste the sweet joy of God’s forgiveness.
- Smell the aroma of a brand new day.
- Give thanks.
Happy Thanksgiving!
For God so loved the world that he gave his only begotten Son. That whosoever believes in him, should not perish but have everlasting life. John 3:16

Life, family, daughter’s birthday, church later, turkey dinner family coming over.
Family, health, and new beginnings. Excited to see what the future holds.
I was in a serious car accident in September, so this year I’m thankful that my family does not have to spend thanksgiving without me. I’m thankful for LIFE!
I’m thankful that I haven’t had a brain short since early September, that I survived a serious allergic reaction, and that the last time I had teriyaki chicken and a coke the first few sips of the coke tasted like BACON.
I am thankful for Gimpy Roger!
Happy Thanksgiving, Ken!
I’m thankful for the friends I’ve met through the blogging community.
Jon, I hope you have a wonderful Thanksgiving and Christmas season! I am thankful for you today.
Thanks, Ken!
I am thankful for Ken Davis and his promoting being Fully Alive with a sense of humor and the grace of our Lord Jesus!
I’m thankful for my Savior and what He did for me. To think, He hung on that cross just for me. I’m also thankful for my wife and family and friends. I told my wife this morning that it would take all day just to start listing all that God has done for me when I sure did not deserve any of it. God Bless you and your family and keep up the Christian humor. We need more of it.
Always look forward to your blog! It is either uplifting or hysterical! Thanks. But I have one question….just how many women were in your bed that morning? LOL
Thank you, Ken, for your ministry. You are a blessing to so many. Happy Thanksgiving!
Ken, the simple things of life (like those you opened this post with) are the most precious things I’m thankful for. Thank you for the reminders . . .
LOL LOL LOL LOL
When I read the opening words to this blog, I cried. The one who’s soft breath I would wake to is no longer here but I am thankful for your witty blogs that keep me smiling and for the many people in my life that hold up the sky for me when I am certain it has fallen.
